$500 Raised to Rebuild House

Thanks to four donors, we raised $500 to rebuild the house and replace supplies. What an amazing way for this new believer to learn about the love of Christ. If you would still like to give, donations will meet other pressing needs in Myanmar. To donate or offer a word of encouragement, please contact me.

One donor wrote, “In situations like these, I always default to the great verse from Genesis 50:20: “As for you, you thought evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring about that many people should be kept alive, as they are this day.” Trusting that God, who is the ultimate REDEEMER, will buy back this tragedy and use it for his magnification and glory.”

To catch you up, Mr. U Tan was baptized on February 25. Buddhism is the majority religion in Myanmar. Leaving Buddhism and following Jesus can have serious consequences. For Mr. U Tan, it did. Mr. U Tan’s house was burned down because he became a Christian. Local Buddhists told him that because he accepted Jesus, they burned his house down.

Read the blog article and see a picture of Mr. U Tan being baptized.
